Janitorial Worker

Successful, well established janitorial company with good opportunities seeking to hire full-time and part-time cleaners for a manufacturing facility in the Danville area. Must be able to pass background check, have a valid driver's license and a high school diploma/GED. Responsibilities Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.) Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities Carry out heavy cleansing tasks Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Make adjustments and minor repairs Stock and maintain supply rooms Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations Skills Proven working experience as a janitor Ability to stand/walk for 7.50 hour shifts Ability to lift 50lbs or more Ability to bend, squat, reach, etc. Ability to handle equipment Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, machines Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently Current Driver's License required Ability to pass background check
