A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Cleans all areas of the warehouse and office, including mopping floors, dusting, and vacuuming Empty trash cans on a regular basis Carry out additional cleaning duties as instructed by management Perform job site deliveries of equipment, supplies, etc. Restocks breakrooms and restrooms with janitorial supplies Undertake basic maintenance tasks related to building operating systems May perform grounds keeping activities such as cleaning snow, mowing lawns, raking leaves, and general grounds maintenance Utilizes safe work practices and uses proper PPE in the performance of all tasks Qualifications Must be able to work with little or no supervision Must have good working knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures Must have a valid driver's license Must possess good interpersonal skills to interact with fellow workers and customers of the organization All employees of a SERVPRO® Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO® Franchise.
