Job Description
Janitorial Cleaner (Part-Time) Overview Proper Quality Cleaning is urgently seeking reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaners to support our newly awarded Virginia DMV contract in Clintwood, VA . This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for Virginia DMV employees and customers through consistent nightly cleaning services. Responsibilities Sweep, dust mop, and damp mop hard surface floors. Vacuum carpeted areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, and fixtures. Restock restroom supplies as needed. Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners. Dust desks, counters, furniture, and other horizontal surfaces. Clean interior glass, entrance doors, and high-touch surfaces. Spot clean walls, doors, and other surfaces as needed. Lock and secure the facility upon completion of cleaning duties. Follow company safety procedures and maintain professional standards at all times. Report maintenance concerns or supply needs to management. Occasionally, employees may assist with deep cleaning projects or other facility maintenance tasks as business needs require. Training will be provided. Preferred Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Strong attention to detail. Dependable and punctual. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Professional attitude and strong work ethic. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States. Must successfully pass a criminal background check. Must maintain a drug-free workplace. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to work Monday through Friday during evening hours. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods. Must communicate professionally with supervisors and coworkers.
