Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Lot Porter to join our dealership team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, assisting with vehicle movement, and providing excellent guest services. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions. Previous dealership or retail experience is a plus, along with familiarity with parking regulations. Bilingual skills and cash handling experience are also valued. Duties Safely move and park vehicles within the dealership lot and parking areas Assist customers by providing friendly guest services and directions Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lot, including washing and detailing vehicles as needed Help with vehicle deliveries and pick-ups, acting as a delivery driver when required Support dealership staff with various tasks such as cashiering, retail math, and inventory management Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations Ensure all vehicles are properly positioned for display or sale purposes Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for staff and guests Experience Prior experience in hospitality, guest services, or customer service roles is preferred Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable Dealership experience or familiarity with parking regulations is a plus Delivery driver experience or cashiering background can be beneficial Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customers Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role Previous retail math or cash handling experience will support effective transaction processing This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork, excellent service, and vehicle care are prioritized.
