Job Description

As an Auto Body Shop Janitor, you would be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including tasks like sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning restrooms, while adhering to safety protocols and reporting any maintenance issues.
Responsibilities:
General Area Cleaning:
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Dusting surfaces and equipment. Cleaning windows and glass surfaces. Emptying trash and recycling bins. Cleaning restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
Specific Auto Repair Shop Tasks:
Cleaning grease and oil spills. Cleaning tools and equipment. Washing vehicles (if needed).
Maintenance and Organization:
Ensuring the shop is tidy and organized. Stocking cleaning supplies. Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Safety:
Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures. Using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
Other Duties:
May be required to assist with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Prior experience in cleaning or maintenance is a plus. Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
Skills:
Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, and reach. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
