Job Description

McLean Rae Janitorial is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to provide weekly cleaning services for a Virginia state government office in Marion, VA. This position is ideal for someone looking for supplemental income with a consistent weekly schedule. All cleaning supplies, equipment, and training will be provided. Work Schedule One cleaning per week Approximately 2.5-3.5 hours per visit Evening hours after normal business operations or weekends Flexible scheduling within contract requirements Responsibilities Empty trash and replace liners Vacuum carpeted areas Sweep and mop hard floors Clean and sanitize restrooms Clean breakroom/kitchenette Dust furniture, desks, and surfaces Clean interior glass Restock supplies as needed Lock and secure the facility after cleaning Report maintenance or safety concerns Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Reliable transportation Ability to work independently Strong attention to detail Dependable attendance Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required Background Check Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a criminal background check in accordance with the requirements of the Commonwealth of Virginia contract.
