Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced cleaner to join our team on a full-time basis, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial, industrial, or residential cleaning who takes pride in maintaining spotless, safe, and welcoming environments. As an experienced cleaner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services efficiently and thoroughly, ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your expertise will help create a positive space for employees, clients, and visitors alike. Duties Perform detailed cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces. Handle custodial responsibilities such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch areas. Utilize janitorial equipment effectively and safely to ensure optimal cleaning results. Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with health and safety regulations across all assigned areas. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management. Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure consistent quality throughout the workday. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures. Skilled in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors. Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is highly desirable. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail. Strong physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
