Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure that our spaces are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Your proactive approach will contribute to a positive atmosphere for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently throughout the facility Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs and facility upkeep as needed Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and other consumables to ensure availability at all times Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods Basic understanding of facilities maintenance procedures is a plus Join us in creating a clean and inviting environment where everyone feels comfortable!
