Job Description

Patrick's Janitorial Services has a part time position available in the Norfolk, VA area. Cleaning and maintaining a local Apartment Building on Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA. Hiring one person for the following shift 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, three hours a day, Monday-Friday, (Weekends as needed) (This is a part time job). $15.00 hr. Hiring one person for the following shift for two hours a day between 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM as site supervisor and cleaning elevators daily, quarterly windows with ability to fill in when needed. Monday-Friday, (Weekends as needed) (This is a part time job) $25.00 hr. Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Job Responsibilities:
Must be able to clean good!
  • Collect and dispose of trash.
  • Maintain flooring in hallways,, laundry room, and office space etc.
  • Restroom cleaning, sanitation, mopping, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
  • Clean and sanitize all common areas, break rooms, and restocking of supplies.
  • Overall general cleaning, lobby, windows, counters, etc. and other cleaning request as needed.
  • Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for observing
OSHA/SDS
regulations pertaining proper handling, usage, and storage of chemicals and materials.
  • Responsible for maintaining and wearing the required uniform when on duty to ensure a professional and easily recognizable appearance at all times.
Competencies Task oriented Positive attitude Must be Reliable 1 yr janitorial experience High school diploma/GED required Good attention to detail Must be reliable Self-motivated to accomplish the goal in a timely manner Time Management Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies. Able to use basic cleaning equipment. The ability to stand for extended periods of time. Equal opportunity employer.
