AUTOMOTIVE LOT PORTER

- Full and part time positions to fill immediately at Lindsay Volkswagen in Sterling, VA. Automotive Lot porter duties include:

Check in newly arriving new and used car inventory Inspect cars to detect and document damage for reimbursement; record description of damages and list missing items on delivery receipt Verify accessories listed on the invoice, such as spare tires, floor mats, and other accessories Keep all display areas organized and clean Park inventory cars in the assigned area Maximize the use of space by maintaining an organized lot Light maintenance work required Prepare the lot for special events and campaigns Transport customers when necessary Deliver vehicles to other dealers as needed for dealer trades Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by a manager Automotive lot porter job qualifications include: Must have a valid driver's license Must have a clean driving record Able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles safely Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must have demonstrable customer service skills We offer full benefits including: Health Dental Vision Life 401K Opportunities for advancement Automotive Lot Porter physical requirements: This job will require the selected individual to be able to perform the following physical activities: walking, getting in and out of cars in all weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, use snow blower, broom, snow shovel and scrapers, shop vac, take off and put on license plates, moving and re-arranging office equipment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
