Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our commercial facilities. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness across all areas. Handle floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and floor scrubbers efficiently and safely. Mix and apply floor cleaning chemicals and floor care products following safety guidelines to preserve flooring integrity. Conduct heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture, equipment, or supplies safely through manual handling techniques. Manage chemical agent handling with proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety standards are met. Perform janitorial and custodial duties with attention to detail, including restroom sanitation, trash removal, and supply replenishment. Maintain a clean environment by adhering to environmental services best practices and safety protocols at all times. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests or concerns from staff or visitors. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services, with knowledge of janitorial procedures preferred. Skilled in the use of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and floor scrubbing machines. Familiarity with floor cleaning chemicals, floor waxing, buffing, and refinishing techniques. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following environmental health standards. Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset. $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
