Duties Operate professional carpet cleaning equipment to remove dirt, stains, and odors from various types of carpets and flooring surfaces. Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols and environmental guidelines. Perform floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing tasks to maintain pristine floors across commercial or residential spaces. Conduct detailed floor cleaning, including vacuuming, spot cleaning, and deep cleaning procedures to ensure thorough results. Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of equipment or furniture when necessary for thorough cleaning or access. Maintain cleanliness of all cleaning tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about services performed and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning roles, with a focus on carpet and floor care. Strong knowledge of floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing techniques. Familiarity with handling chemical agents safely, including the use of floor cleaning chemicals and environmental services standards. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as extractors, buffers, polishers, and vacuums efficiently. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude.
