A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Pay:

$21.00 per hour Job description: We are looking for a part time janitor in Bellingham. Job duties include general janitorial duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, emptying trash/recycling, wiping down surfaces etc. Location has a specific cleaning list/schedule to be followed. All supplies are provided.

Applicant requirements:

Must be 18 or older, have a valid drivers license, have reliable transportation (public transit will not work for this position). Applicant must be able to pass a Federal Background Check (requirement of location(s) being cleaned). Must be able to work independently and have attention to detail. This job is 5 days per week (M-F) approx. 2-3 hours per day. Work must be done between 10am - 5pm but you can choose your timeframe it just needs to be consistent.
