This role is vital in ensuring that our spaces are hygienic, well-maintained, and visually appealing for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct floor care procedures such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained. Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of machinery or equipment when necessary. Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold a pristine environment. Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and other essentials to ensure facilities are fully equipped at all times. Assist with custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance or minor repairs as needed. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning practices. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing. Experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and bending frequently.
