Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to oversee and lead a team of custodial staff in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at our facilities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality service and compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise janitorial staff and coordinate daily cleaning schedules. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure quality and consistency. Train and mentor team members on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stocked. Address and resolve issues related to performance, attendance, and customer service. Communicate with management and clients regarding service needs, concerns, or feedback. Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and staff performance. Assist with hands-on cleaning as needed to support the team.
Requirements:
Bilingual in English and Spanish. 2+ years of janitorial or custodial experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks. Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings as needed.
