A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Summary We're looking for seasoned cleaning professionals to join our field team. This isn't an entry-level position — we're seeking individuals who already have strong experience in one or more of the following areas: Housekeeping Janitorial cleaning Window washing Carpet cleaning At Alston Cleaning, we believe in cross-training across all service categories, allowing our team members to expand their skills and become versatile professionals with leadership potential. What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is: Experienced, skilled, and takes pride in their craft Honest, reliable, and operates with integrity Motivated, energetic, and eager to hustle Flexible and open to learning different types of cleaning work Well-spoken, intelligent, and professional in communication Customer-oriented with a friendly, positive attitude (a must!) Safety-conscious and a safe driver with a valid license and reliable vehicle Detail-focused, organized, and able to keep accurate written records (legible handwriting required) Excited about the cleaning industry and passionate about making an impact We're especially interested in those who want to grow — whether that means taking on more responsibility, developing leadership skills, or moving into sales or administrative roles.
