Job Description
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facilities. The Janitor will perform various custodial duties to ensure a clean and safe environment for all occupants.
Duties:
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, buffing, and maintaining floor surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with proper procedures.
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and utilize cleaning chemicals in a safe and effective manner.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks related to facilities upkeep.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions thoroughly.
- Good physical stamina and capability to lift heavy objects if necessary.
- Excellent time management skills and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
