Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet care to maintain pristine surfaces. Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, dusting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies. Conduct custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met consistently. Assist with industrial cleaning projects that may involve specialized equipment or techniques for heavy-duty sanitation. Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep to keep the premises in top condition. Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently, including floor buffers and other custodial tools. Follow safety protocols diligently while performing all cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a secure work environment. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of proper cleaning techniques. Knowledge of floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors. Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and residential painting is a plus. Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently. Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance needs clearly.
