This position is located at the Astria Sunnyside Hospital in the Environmental Services Department.

Shift:

8 Hour Day Shift. - More information will be provided during the interview. What you get to do every day! As the Environmental Services Specialist , you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of patient rooms, common areas, and offices.

You will:

Maintain the restroom and showering area in a clean and aseptic condition, ensure regular cleaning with disinfectants, proper ventilation, and prompt removal of any debris. Regularly clean floors to ensure cleanliness and free of markings or debris.

Performs public restroom checks as assigned by shift. Maintains department safety. Attending to soiled linens and cleaning emergency spillages.

Performs patient discharge cleaning in a timely mannerPerforms other duties as assignedCollaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
