Job Description

Environmental Services Tech Position Type :
Full-Time, Non-Exempt About eliseo: eliseo is a not-for-profit Senior Living Community that has been serving the greater Tacoma community for 85 years! Our 28-acre campus includes a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care Nursing Services, Memory Care, Assisted Living and Independent Living Homes. Shift:
Wednesday-Sunday ​ 7:00am-3:00pm
Position Summary:
Cleans resident rooms, apartments, six-plexes, baths, exercise/therapy areas, offices, halls, and other areas by performing the following duties.
Qualifications:
Previous Housekeeping Experience/Training Ability to print and speak simple sentences. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates and maintains an environment that translates the mission of eliseo into actions that are conducive to the maximum well-being of the residents served. Assures that services provided are of appropriate quality and are consistent with eliseo philosophical principles. Washes beds and mattresses after discharge of residents, remakes beds daily and on resident bath day. Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition. Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dusts furniture and equipment. Polishes metalwork. Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebaskets. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishes soap, toilet tissue and towels. Cleans resident's wheelchairs. Cleans med carts.
