This is a hands-on, hybrid role. You will split your time between office-based administrative tasks, field operations, and actively working alongside the team. In addition to managing inventory and quality control, you will be responsible for leading the training of new cleaners and stepping in to perform cleaning duties yourself to cover staff shortages or emergency calls. Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Staff Development Lead the onboarding and field training of all new cleaning specialists, ensuring they fully understand company standards and specific account guidelines. Conduct hands-on demonstrations of proper cleaning techniques, chemical dilution, and correct usage of specialized equipment (e.g., floor buffers, backpack vacuums). Train staff on safety protocols, including chemical safety (SDS), proper PPE usage, and OSHA compliance. Provide ongoing coaching and on-the-spot retraining to existing staff members when quality drops or new procedures are introduced. Hybrid Field Cleaning & Support Actively perform commercial cleaning duties alongside the team or independently to cover open shifts, call-outs, or peak workloads. Respond directly to emergency cleaning requests or special one-time service calls from business accounts. Model exceptional work ethic and proper cleaning techniques by working "in the trenches" with staff. Quality Control & Account Management Conduct routine, documented quality inspections at client facilities to ensure strict adherence to company standards. Serve as a professional point of contact for business accounts, resolving client requests or complaints promptly. Identify service deficiencies during inspections and immediately implement corrective actions. Inventory & Supplies Management Monitor, track, and manage inventory levels of cleaning chemicals, consumables, and equipment across all accounts. Coordinate the distribution and delivery of supplies to various business locations to prevent service interruptions. Ensure all field equipment is clean, safe, and in proper working order. Operations & Administration Assist the manager in scheduling, dispatching, and routing cleaning teams to optimize efficiency. Complete and log daily supervisor reports, inspection sheets, and inventory audits using company systems. Help enforce company policies, documenting staff attendance or performance issues for review by the manager.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial cleaning, with at least 1 year in a supervisory, training, or team-lead capacity.

Strong Trainer:

Excellent patience and ability to clearly explain, demonstrate, and teach cleaning processes to new hires.

Hands-on Mindset:

Strong willingness to perform physical labor and commercial cleaning tasks on a daily or as-needed basis.

Tech-Savvy:

Proficient with smartphones, email, and basic software (spreadsheets, scheduling apps, or janitorial management software).

Requirements:

Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation to travel between accounts. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Pay:

$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
