Summary:

The Custodial Substitute will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the Tenino School District. This is a substitute position that may require work on short notice.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, and other school facilities Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors Dust and wipe down surfaces Collect and dispose of trash and recycling Set up and take down chairs, tables, and other equipment for events Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel Follow safety procedures and guidelines Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Prior custodial experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Good communication skills Physical ability to perform custodial tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds Ability to pass a background check & Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance.
