Responsibilities Operate carpet cleaning machines, floor scrubbers, buffers, waxers, and other cleaning equipment to restore floors and carpets to their best condition Handle and apply various floor cleaning chemicals safely, including floor waxing, refinishing, buffing, and chemical agents for stain removal Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment to facilitate thorough cleaning processes Conduct detailed cleaning procedures including floor scrubbing, buffing, polishing, and floor care maintenance across commercial or residential spaces Maintain cleanliness of work areas by performing janitorial duties such as trash removal, dusting, and surface disinfecting Follow safety protocols related to chemical agent handling and environmental services to ensure a safe workspace for yourself and others Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning results Qualifications Proven experience in custodial or janitorial services with a focus on commercial cleaning or environmental services preferred Knowledge of floor cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and floor refinishing techniques Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods such as steam extraction or dry cleaning processes Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work standards Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members Valid experience in using cleaning equipment like floor buffers, polishers, scrubbers, and chemical agents handling skills Join us in creating cleaner, safer environments!
