About the Role As a Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician, you'll work as part of a crew servicing commercial kitchens, helping restaurants keep their exhaust systems clean, safe, and up to code. This is hands-on, physical work performed during evening and overnight hours when kitchens are closed. May also be called upon to pressure wash roofs, drive thrus, walk ways, parking lots, and clean grease traps. What You'll Do Clean commercial kitchen exhaust hoods and ventilation systems Clean exhaust fans, filters, ductwork, and related components Remove grease buildup using professional-grade cleaning equipment Operate pressure washers and other specialized tools Set up and protect kitchen equipment and surrounding areas before cleaning Follow company safety procedures and cleaning standards Complete service documentation and job records Keep the work area clean and organized Communicate professionally with restaurant managers and customers Work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards Work both independently and as part of a team, supporting teammates as needed Clean roofs or drainage systems, as our offerings to customers are currently expanding What We're Looking For Previous hood cleaning experience is a plus but not required — we provide training. Experience in any of these areas is helpful: Hood or exhaust cleaning Pressure washing Commercial or residential cleaning Construction or maintenance HVAC Landscaping Restaurant or kitchen work Janitorial services Other skilled trades or hands-on work Ideal candidates are: Reliable, coachable, and take pride in their work Detail-oriented Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Comfortable in hot, wet, and greasy environments Comfortable on ladders and at elevated heights Able to lift and carry equipment and supplies Available for evening and/or overnight shifts Strong communicators with good customer-service instincts
Requirements:
