This role involves performing routine cleaning and janitorial tasks, bussing tables, and overall floor maintenance for a high-volume food truck pod to ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere for your guests. The ideal candidate will be an efficient, detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to providing a clean and welcoming environment for all Vancouver Station visitors. Duties Perform cleaning duties throughout the station, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain hygiene standards. Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring restrooms are clean and well-maintained. Maintain floors by performing regular floor cleaning and addressing any spills or hazards promptly. Support station operations by bussing tables in designated areas when necessary. Retrieving and washing glassware to ensure bar remains stocked. Assist with minor maintenance tasks to ensure the station remains safe and functional. Follow safety protocols and use appropriate equipment to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning and maintenance activities. Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or facility maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting 40+ lbs, and operating cleaning equipment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality. Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment is an asset.
