Overview Join our team as a Carpet Cleaner and play a vital role in transforming spaces through expert cleaning and floor care! Duties Operate carpet cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners, extractors, and buffing machines to thoroughly clean carpets and floors Remove stains, dirt, and debris from various types of flooring using appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques Conduct floor care procedures like buffing, polishing, and sealing to restore shine and extend the life of flooring surfaces Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for yourself and others Document completed work and report any maintenance issues or damages to supervisors promptly Use environmentally friendly cleaning products whenever possible to support sustainability initiatives Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a focus on carpet and floor care Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, buffing, and environmental services practices Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality results Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Familiarity with safety standards related to janitorial and custodial work
