What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
The School District of Amery is now accepting applications for custodians to work year-round, Monday through Friday. These positions have 2nd shift hours on student contact days (2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) and daytime hours during the summer and during other school breaks. These custodial positions are full-time, year-round positions with full benefits including health, dental, paid time off and vacation, paid holidays, state retirement, and more. Cleaning and/or maintenance experience is preferred but not required - paid training is provided. Hourly wage starts at $16.25 but may be increased based on experience.
