Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a pleasant and comfortable experience. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. Skills
- Experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel housekeeping practices and standards is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
