A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and maintenance industry, is seeking a Janitorial/Maintenance Helper to join their team. As a Janitorial/Maintenance Helper, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the shop and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

1st 7am-3:30pm What's the Job? Clean all shop areas, including production offices and storage areas. Track daily cleaning supplies and order replacements when necessary Assist on projects such as painting, sticker placements, and keeping work area organized Maintain clean restrooms, break rooms, office spaces, and production areas Assist with grounds trash pickup, general maintenance, and snow removal as needed. What's Needed? Strong attention to safety procedures and proper PPE usage. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to stand for 8 hours, bend, twist, turn, and life a max of 45lb material if needed. Willingness to perform various maintenance and cleaning tasks. What's in it for me?
