Job Description

Position:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Shop Assistant your role is crucial in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facility.
Your daily tasks will include:
Cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of vehicles and equipment. Keeping the shop area clean and orderly, including sweeping, and organizing tools and materials. Picking up and delivering parts as needed. Cleaning and preparing parts for use or storage. Refueling vehicles and equipment as required. Assisting in loading and unloading vehicles and materials. Operating a forklift when necessary. Contributing to general shop clean-up and waste removal. Participating in ground maintenance activities, such as mowing, trimming, and snow removal. Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess: An energetic, motivated, ambitious, and hard-working attitude. An insurance-acceptable, valid driver's license. The ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner. Proficiency in following both verbal and written instructions. Strong attention to detail. Competency in understanding the responsibilities of the position.
Desired Abilities:
Ability to drive a manual vehicle. Basic working knowledge of automotive parts and service. Strong teamwork and individual work capabilities. Excellent communication skills.
