Job Summary:

Acceptional Minds LLC is a family focused support and mentoring program whose primary goal is providing assistance to families affected by autism and other mental health issues through mentoring and education. As our name implies, we value Acceptance and meeting people where they are at. Under the direction of the Special Projects Manager, this position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of our Bellevue and West De Pere locations. This position would work approximately 26 hours a week working M-F 5pm-9pm at our West De Pere Center and starting at our Bellevue location at 2pm to clean 2 days a week before heading to West De Pere at 5pm. Occasional availability for Saturday deep cleaning projects may also be required.
Responsibilities:
Ensure a clean, safe, sanitized, and functioning environment at both of our locations Communicate amongst cleaning team to make sure all cleaning and needs are met Continuously sweep up and pick up vacated items Safely clean, sanitize, and dispose of human biohazards. Sweep, mop, disinfect, and vacuum floors in a timely manner. Empty trash bins in offices, classrooms, and common areas. Clean and sanitize common areas such as restrooms, hallways, and conference rooms to ensure a clean environment for clients and staff Dust furniture and equipment throughout the building. Carry out all duties in a safe manner Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Must be willing to perform work with and around clients with diverse and varying abilities Knowlege and ability to safely and professionally clean and sanitize using low odor chemicals and cleaning products Preferred previous experience in school or center Ability to prioritize your workload to meet company needs Must have reliable transportation, driver's license, and auto insurance for traveling between buildings. Must complete all required staff trainings, including but not limited to Handle with
Care, Ukeru, Mental Health Youth First Aid, First Aid/AED, ACES, and Mandatory Reporting Physical Requirements:
Must be able to safely perform a restraint under the training and guidance of Handle with Care training Prolonged periods of standing and walking Ability to climb up and down a ladder to perform basic maintenance and/or cleaning duties Must be able to kneel, sit, crouch, crawl, push, pull, and bend at the waist to perform duties throughout the day Must be able to lift up to 10lbs routinely and up to 50lbs occasionally
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
