Janitor/Custodian Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Janitor to provide essential cleaning and maintenance services to ensure our facilities remain in pristine condition. This role is critical in maintaining a clean and orderly environment for all employees and visitors. Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning of the building, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms. Dispose of garbage and ensure all supplies are stocked and unpacked. Support internal office moves and relocations, including the teardown and building of office cubicles. Execute general building maintenance tasks, including building start-up, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, replacement of lights, and general building cleanup. Participate in interior and exterior recycling initiatives to promote a sustainable environment. Essential Skills General experience with industrial equipment and ability to perform preventative maintenance repairs. Knowledge of basic manual work techniques. Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds. Exhibit good attendance and maintain a positive attitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 6 months of janitorial experience. Floor care experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates from 4pm to 12:30am, Monday through Friday. The work involves handling industrial equipment and performing manual tasks. Employees should be prepared for a physical work environment that requires lifting and movement. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
