Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This energetic role involves performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and other floor care techniques to ensure a professional appearance. Conduct deep cleaning procedures such as restroom sanitation, window washing, and carpet cleaning as needed. Assist with minor maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, or reporting larger repair needs to the appropriate team. Support facilities maintenance by ensuring all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-stocked and properly stored. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleanliness standards are met consistently in both commercial and residential settings. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential environments is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing is highly desirable. Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance will be considered an asset. Familiarity with cleaning supplies, equipment operation, and safety procedures is essential.
