A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
School District of Shell Lake Now Hiring:
Part-Time Custodians We are seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our custodial team. We currently have three part-time openings : 1 Day Shift Custodian (M-T, Th-F 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, W 8:00 am to 2:00 pm) 2 Night Shift Custodians (M-F 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm or 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm) Responsibilities include performing routine custodial duties to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.Applicants should be:
- Reliable
- Detail-oriented
- Able to work both independently and cooperatively
- Able to handle cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Previous cleaning or custodial experience a plus
- Flexible as schedules may change
- A valid driver
- Successful background check
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
