A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Competitive hourly pay Paid lunch break Year-round stable employment Paid training Opportunities for overtime Family-owned company with over 30 years of experience Supportive team environment What You'll Do As a Custodian, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment by: Cleaning classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, stairwells, and common areas Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces Emptying trash and recycling containers Restocking restroom and cleaning supplies Using professional cleaning equipment and disinfecting products Assisting with room setup and cleanup for school events and activities Reporting maintenance concerns or safety hazards to supervisors Following company safety procedures and cleaning standards What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Detail-oriented Able to work independently and as part of a team Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform custodial duties throughout the shift Able to pass a required background check Has reliable transportation to Slinger Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus—but not required. We provide training! High school diploma or GED preferred.
