A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. 3-4 mornings a week. The goal is to keep our restaurant in a clean and orderly condition Responsibilities Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning etc) Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities Carry out some heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Stock and maintain supply rooms Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations Skills Proven working experience as a janitor Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Integrity and ability to work independently
