Janitor/Cleaner

Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and floor care. Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Handle custodial tasks including trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch areas to promote a healthy environment. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning of equipment or large spaces. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques such as floor buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing is preferred but not essential. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks or porter duties will be advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment operation, and safety procedures related to custodial work. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently. Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
