A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

We provide to our community opportunities for steady work, reliable income, and affordable housing. Pay is $14-18 per hour depending on qualifications, paid as an independent contractor (1099). Responsibilities Clean all aspects of residential apartments and houses, including floors, windows, appliances, bathrooms, kitchens, laundry, dishes, ceiling fans, and furniture. Identify and report any problems with appliances, lighting, furniture, etc. Work independently, thoroughly, and efficiently. Requirements Several years of cleaning experience Ability to climb stairs and bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work independently or as a member of a team Excellent communication skills Reliable source of transportation Prompt, professional, & respectful
