What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Hours of Work:
Monday- Thursday 5:00pm to 1:30am and Friday 3:00pm
- 11:30pm. Occasional Saturdays are required from 3:00pm
- 11:30pm.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time, benefited Staff, S25 level position.Starting wage range:

JOB SUMMARY
The Custodian II position is a full-time, benefited position, that provides clean, safe, and professional facilities for our students, community, and stakeholders. This position may work on a team or individually to perform cleaning, trash removal, floor care, setup and tear down for athletic events, special floor install and removal for special events. Providing clean, attractive, healthy, and safe facilities for events. Individuals in this position are expected to represent the Department and LCCC in a professional manner. Additionally, this position may also support and perform the duties to support setup teams. This position may require the ability to work a flexible schedule and provide support to alternate shifts or for special events setups.
