Top Flight Maintenance is hiring an experienced, dependable Janitorial Lead to oversee daily operations of a janitorial crew. This hands-on role supports residential and/or commercial properties while maintaining high standards for workmanship, efficiency, professionalism, and customer service. The Janitorial Lead also helps train and motivate crew members and keeps sites running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities Daily Janitorial Operations:

Perform and lead daily janitorial duties in commercial facilities, including deep cleans and work in large buildings.

Equipment & Floor Care:

Use and maintain basic janitorial machinery, including buffers and vacuums, and demonstrate mastery of floor-care techniques and cleaning systems.

Chemical Handling:

Understand proper chemical handling, mixing, and use.

Crew Support & Training:

Support junior crew members and assist with training, scheduling, and mentoring newer employees.

Quality & Professionalism:

Maintain consistency, professionalism, efficiency, and high-quality cleaning standards.

Problem Solving & Safety:

Proactively address cleaning or scheduling issues, recognize minor maintenance or safety concerns, and report them appropriately. 2+ years of janitorial experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role. Ability to read and interpret job-site plans and instructions. Good communication and leadership skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions. What Success Looks Like Daily janitorial work is completed consistently and to a high standard. Crew members receive clear support, training, and direction. Cleaning and scheduling issues are handled proactively so sites continue running smoothly. Equipment, floor-care systems, and cleaning chemicals are used properly and safely. Maintenance and safety concerns are recognized and reported promptly.
