Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Vacation Rental Cleaner, where your attention to detail and passion for cleanliness will create welcoming, spotless environments for our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing vacation rental properties to ensure they meet our high standards of hospitality and comfort. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will help deliver memorable experiences for every guest, making their stay enjoyable and stress-free. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of vacation rental units, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces. Handle various cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing high-touch areas to ensure optimal sanitation. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely and effectively while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Manage heavy lifting tasks involved in moving furniture or equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness standards by inspecting units after cleaning and addressing any areas needing additional attention. Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures and emergency protocols to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to prepare units for incoming guests. Requirements Proven custodial or housekeeping experience, preferably within the hospitality or vacation rental industry. Knowledge of floor care techniques including floor cleaning, chemical handling, and industrial cleaning methods. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals responsibly while following safety procedures and understanding safety data sheets (SDS). Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety at all times. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple units efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
