SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across Weatherby's facilities, including offices, production areas, and common spaces. This role ensures that all areas are clean, stocked, and well-maintained, supporting employee well-being and operational efficiency. Success in this role requires consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, conference rooms, lobby areas, and production spaces. Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors, hallways, and stairways. Remove trash and recycling and replace liners. Maintain outdoor areas, including grounds and parking lots. Clean and maintain windows and surfaces. Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies. Select appropriate cleaning materials and tools. Perform basic maintenance of custodial equipment. Report repair needs to Facilities Maintenance Manager. Support a clean and safe workplace.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED, or minimum 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Written and oral communication skills. Ability to read and apply safety rules and procedure manuals. Strong problem-solving skills
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND MEASURES
Ensure that assigned orders are completed according to schedule. Maintain quality standards as set forth by Weatherby. Meet objective goals assigned during performance coaching.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to acknowledge: Ability to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. Prolonged standing required; must be able to manipulate and assemble small parts. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to meet requirements for respirator use including medical evaluation and fit testing. Frequently lift/move 25 lbs.; occasionally lift/move 65 lbs; push/pull up to 70 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in a manufacturing environment and will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in this work environment can be loud.
