Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing surfaces. Support cooking activities by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to prepare menu items efficiently. Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and safety regulations at all times. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing when required. Assist with banquet setups, serving guests during events, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages. Support team members with general kitchen duties like restocking supplies, managing waste disposal, and maintaining a hygienic environment. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and basic cooking techniques is advantageous. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Prior banquet or catering experience can be beneficial but is not required; training will be provided. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are vital for success in this role. Experience working in hotel kitchens or culinary settings enhances your ability to excel in this position.
