Cook Gusano's Pizza Position Summary Gusano's Pizza is looking for dependable, hardworking cooks to join our team at our newest location! Our cooks are responsible for preparing high-quality food while maintaining a clean, organized, and fast-paced kitchen. We are looking for team players who take pride in their work, communicate well, and are committed to providing every guest with a great dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare pizzas, appetizers, sandwiches, salads, wings, and other menu items according to Gusano's recipes and standards. Ensure food is prepared consistently, accurately, and in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout each shift. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines. Stock and rotate food products using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices. Monitor food quality and report any product concerns to management. Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning equipment and work areas. Work efficiently with teammates during busy service periods. Help receive and properly store deliveries. Follow all company policies and procedures while maintaining a positive attitude. Qualifications Restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
