Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and reliable Back of House Team Member to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you'll be a key player behind the scenes, ensuring that all food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of menu items, following established recipes and standards. Support food production processes including grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation to meet high-volume demands. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Help with menu planning support and ensure recipe adherence during food preparation. Follow all food safety management protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests. Contribute to high-quality food service by supporting catering events and assisting with food handling during peak hours. Qualifications Experience in dietary aide roles or dietary department experience is preferred. Previous restaurant or food industry experience with a focus on food handling, cooking, or catering is highly valued. Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and food processors. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food safety management practices. Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production environments while maintaining quality standards. Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques such as braising or poaching is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude toward learning new culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
