Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to menu specifications and dietary guidelines Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, mixing, and portioning ingredients efficiently and safely Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment regularly Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items Support meal planning efforts by assisting with menu setup and ingredient inventory management Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, ovens, mixers, and other culinary tools Serve food items in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred Knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety and handling practices Basic culinary skills including knife proficiency and meal preparation techniques Familiarity with menu planning and food presentation is a plus Experience working in restaurant or catering settings demonstrates adaptability and teamwork skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your contributions directly impact the dining experience.
