Job Description

The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the kitchen, dishwashing areas, and food storage spaces. This position supports the culinary and food & beverage teams by ensuring all cookware, dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to company and health department standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, walls, drains, and storage areas. Remove trash and recycling and ensure waste areas remain clean and organized. Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food and supply deliveries as needed. Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organizational tasks. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain chemical handling and cleaning standards in accordance with company policies. Assist with deep cleaning projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Previous stewarding, dishwashing, or kitchen experience preferred but not required. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen operation while supporting exceptional guest experiences.
