Responsibilities Assist in preparing and baking a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts following established recipes and standards. Support cake decorating efforts to create visually appealing confections for various occasions. Help with food production tasks such as mixing, piping, and assembling baked goods. Package baked items carefully for retail display or customer orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, adhering to food safety and handling protocols. Support the team during catering events or special orders by preparing ingredients and assisting with setup. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Requirements Previous experience in pastry arts, baking, or food production is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and food handling practices. Basic kitchen skills including knife handling, food preparation, and baking techniques. Strong attention to detail with an eye for presentation and quality control. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and support customer service when needed.
