We are seeking a dedicated and organized Nutrition Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring that our children receive nutritious meals in a clean and welcoming environment. The Nutrition Coordinator will be responsible for preparing and distributing breakfast and snacks to classrooms, while maintaining a clean and well-organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare nutritious breakfast and snack options for children, following any dietary guidelines or restrictions. Distribute prepared meals to classrooms promptly and efficiently. Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment after meal preparation. Organize and maintain a clean kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces and appliances are properly cleaned. Restock groceries and supplies as needed, including tracking inventory and informing management of any items that need replenishment. Clean and organize the refrigerator, ensuring food items are stored safely and outdated items are discarded. Adhere to all health and safety standards for food preparation and kitchen maintenance.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food preparation or a kitchen environment, preferably in a childcare or school setting. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A positive attitude and commitment to providing high-quality nutrition for young children.
