Food Processor

Our client, a food company, is looking for a Food Service Worker/Cook to join their team in Delano, CA. This role supports daily kitchen operations including food prep, cleanliness, and service, helping ensure nutritious meals are delivered to students in a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Review daily menus and prep ingredients: clean, chop, slice, weigh, and measure Prep sandwiches, condiments, and pantry items for lunch service Ensure food quality meets standards and is labeled/stored correctly Clean and assemble kitchen equipment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow food safety and HACCP policies Assist with customer service and occasional food delivery duties Report any food shortages or quality concerns to the lead or supervisor

Requirements:

Prior food service experience preferred Ability to obtain and maintain a California Food Handler Certificate Valid California driver's license required if delivering meals Basic English proficiency required (reading, speaking, understanding) Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in hot/cold kitchen environments Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
